Through Czech Canada from Nova Bystřice to the castle Landštejn

A moderately difficult 31 km long trail of Czech Canada leads from Nova Bystřice across Albeř, around the pond Osika, through the village Klášter to the Museum of the Czechoslovak fortification - where you can take a tour of the so called "řopík". From there you can also continue along the blue trail which leads along a more demanding terrain and connects with this route in Pomezí pod Landštejnem. After that, the very ruin of Landštejn awaits you. It is not far to the buffalo farm in Rožnov from here, which is an ancient and sensitively renovated farmhouse, used as a guesthouse, a restaurant and for breeding of the American bison. Further on the trail continues through Klenová, around the pond Skalák to Senotín and across Hůrky back to Nova Bystřice.

The trail also crosses several nature trails starting from Nova Bystřice (Textile Trail, Trail of the 20th century, The trail of confession).

Tip: When visiting Nova Bystřice, do not forget to visit the Veteran Museum - opened in 2015. It is the first and largest museum of the American prewar cars in the country.
