Dačice - across Kázek to Kostelní Vydří - around a cascade of ponds - Dačice

We set off from the square in Dačice around the church of St. Lawrence, following the road towards Studená. Turn right at the first turning behind the firehouse towards the former knackery and woods, walk through the woods and then following a field path we come directly to Kostelní Vydří. There is a Carmelite monastery and the tomb of Dalberg we can visit and then walk along the road to a cascade of ponds. We cross the main road and just behind the first pond to the left along a paved road we come back to Dačice. At the pond Vražda (Murder) in Dačice we cross the main road and turn right onto the sidewalk and in front of the cowshed turn left to the garages. Continue along the pond Péráček to the restaurant Na Sádkách where you can find pleasant refreshments. From here we go back a bit and then on the left between the fence and the hillside we can find the path along which we get around the pond and the castle walls up to the gate of the park. Walk through the park towards the castle and the car park. From here back to St. Lawrence church and back to the square. Along the way we pass the renowned sugar cube of Dačice.
