The Monastery Borovany
The monastery was founded in 1455 by Peter of Lindy, abolished under the reign of the Rosenbergs and restored again in 1663 by emperor Ferdinand III. Škapulířová chapel and ceremonial prelature were attached in the mid-18th century. The monastery was abolished again by Emperor Joseph II. in 1785, the facility of the castle was owned by the Schwarzenbergs until 1939.
