Monument of Emmy Destinn

The bust of Emmy Destinn is located on the waterfront of Malse, next to the South Bohemian Theatre. The bust was unveiled in 1990 and its author is Marta Jiraskova. Emmy Destinn died in Ceske Budejovice in 1930 and there have been annual Music Festivals of Emmy Destinn taking place, in her honor, since 1990.
