Nature Trail "To the springs of Počátky and surroundings"

The nature trail is less than 12 km long and takes you to the springs in the nearby town of Počátky. The exceptional effects of the local springs were commemorated in the 16th century and the long history of local hydrotherapeutic and climatic spa St. Catherine is based on them.

Route description: The route starts at the local Sokolovna (hotel type hostel), then continues along the repaired road to the gamekeeper's lodge, then follows through the woods along the bike trail. Water from these springs pleasantly refreshes you on the way:

• spring of St. Catherine
• spring of the river Jihlava
• spring of St. Margaret
• spring of St. Vojtěch

There are resting places along the nature trail which were set up at the crossroads of the trail leading to the individual springs. The cycle path is marked from Počátky to the springs of the river Jihlava and is equipped with information boards.

The trail runs along tarmac, meadows and forest terrain. Suitable for trekking and MTB bicycles.
