Undemanding walk through peaceful forests of the former game reserve of Count Metternich.

Starting points: Tyršova street below the swimming pool and the Forest Spring pavilion

Lenght: 3.3 km (including turning to spring Balbínova 4.5 km)

Time: 60 - 90 minutes

Route description: The starting point is the area of the Forest Spring - then further along the green signs to the lookout, named after the Saxon Queen Karola - around the old city cemetery - then continue to the turning to Balbínova spring which was discovered during the extractions of peat for the spa purposes - on the route also discover the Bear spring, welling up in a hollow tree stump and colouring the brook red.
