Vodnany - educational trail Water is Science

"Water is Science" - is less than 5 km long educational trail, which combines not only information about water but also a cultural experience and an unusual rest in the forest park at the same time.

The educational trail Water is Science takes us through the picturesque South Bohemian Benatky and the romantic landscape of the local ponds. Vodnany has recently become a paradise for architects and sculptors who have been filling the local landscape with their works of art. The nature trail was established in cooperation with the local Faculty of Fisheries and Water Protection of JU CB. An integral part of the trail is a stop in the forest park Zatisi. The forest park refreshes the spirit with its unusual and sensitive placement of objects in the landscape. The route starts at the square in the local tourist information center. It shortly leads through the town and then it winds among the local picturesque ponds. The trail runs along reinforced paths, most of which are tarmac.

It is an undemanding trail suitable for families with children. The trail can be walked all year round. It can always surprise you with something new.
